Hiring of Interim Town Manager Christopher H. Snider
The Town of Orange is excited to announce the appointment of Interim Town Manager Christopher H. Snider. Chris is currently serving as the Town’s Director of Economic Development. Chris started serving in local government in 2001 and was subsequently elected to the Culpeper Town Council in 2004 and 2008. In 2012, he began in federal service with the U.S. House of Representatives, working for three members of congress until January 2025. Additionally, he began working for the Senate of Virginia in November 2018, specifically for Senator Bryce Reeves. Chris stated that he has learned many valuable lessons over those years and made many friends along the way.
Chris states that his passion for local government has been reignited these past 7 weeks since working for the Town of Orange. He is honored to be taking on the role of Interim Town Manager to execute town council’s vision and serve the residents of the Town of Orange. Chris looks forward to moving to the town soon with his wife, Keli.
