A structure is "a construction or erection that requires permanent location on the ground, or attachment to something having a permanent location on the ground." 2. Where do I get a town building permit?

Building permits are obtained from the Orange County Building Department. You must first obtain a zoning permit from the Town of Orange Community Development Department. Once you have an approved zoning permit, you will then take that to the Orange County Building Department to obtain your permit.
