Overview
The Town is responsible for maintaining all traffic control devices necessary for the safe and orderly movement of traffic in and through the Town. All traffic signals, traffic signs, and pavement markings within the Town limits are the Town's responsibility.

The Town follows the national standard as set forth in the manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices which is published by the Federal Highway Administration.

The Public Works Department operates and maintains the signal system and remains on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to correct any problems.
